The summer months will be pleasant due to the hilly nature of the district, however one can expect a high amount of rainfall. The hill stations such as Munnar which are about 5000 feet above sea level have a very pleasant climate during the summer and idukki temperature rarely go above 18 degrees.

Idukki Climate in Winter:

The winter season is very cold and it might be advisable to carry woolen clothes and appropriate winter wear. In the hill stations the idukki temperature might drop to around 0 degrees during the winter months.
